Morphing Sculpted Prim By Vlad Bjornson
Here’s an interesting thing – a sculpted prim morpher by Vlad Bjornson.
Apparently it’s created using the Quicktime movie stream and works at around 8 frames per second. Drawbacks that occur to me are that there’s only going to be one animated sculpty per land parcel, and there seems to be a limit to the number of frames per second.
At some point, for animated sculpties to actually be useful, someone’s going to have to find a way to animate sculpties using a variation of the LSL animation commands – are you working on this Linden Labs?
I’ve been working on a variation of the animated sculpty idea myself – but only at 2 frames per Linden day – that’s a thing that’s one thing during daylight and a different thing at night-time. I really must get round to finishing it and taking some pics!
